Netflix is getting things started early in August with the debut of The Sandman, the TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman's acclaimed comic series. Star Wars fans will need to wait for the end of the month to see the franchise's newest series, Andor, which acts as a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. I Am Groot, a new series of animated shorts, arrives on Disney+ on August 10th, followed by She-Hulk: Attorney at Law one week later, on August 17th. Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, and Prime Video are all preparing to add a bunch of new titles to their streaming rosters in the month ahead.ĭisney+ has a pretty huge month ahead, with new Marvel and Star Wars shows making their debut, as well as the addition of a new season of hit preschool series Bluey.
